A Radical Rocker for the Modern Guitar Hero
The Conqueror electric guitar has a body crafted from solid mahogany, with a glued-in quarter-sawn mahogany neck carved in a thin 1960s profile and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Killer looks are assured by a genuine nitrocellulose lacquer finish, given an added touch of elegance with cream binding around the body and fingerboard, and vintage amber top hat control knobs. The time-tested dimensions of a 24 3/4 inch scale length, a 1 11/16 inch nut width, and a 12 inch fingerboard radius ensures playability, too.
To take it all to the next dimension, the Conqueror carries two of the most popular humbucking pickups, a 1957 pickup in the neck position for sweet, warm vocal tones, and a slightly hotter number 3 pickup in the bridge for gutsy crunch and soaring lead tones. These acclaimed units - both installed uncovered with exposed zebra coil bobbins — are made with genuine nickel magnets and wound with 42 AWG wire, just like the legendary pickups of the late 1950s and early 1960s, and offer a blend of depth and clarity that few pickups can match today.
